Welcome

Biography

The multi award winning Keltrix blend haunting vocals, soaring strings and formidable guitar with electronic beats, bass and synth lines, bridging the gap between alternative folk and electro. The result is both interesting and engaging as indicated in the next release, the new album 'Herstory'.

Herstory is the first concept album we have ever attempted, for Keri Kel as a songwriter and Sharon Sullivan as a producer. She highlights & targets the harm that patriarchy, toxic masculinity and capitalism has on 'we the people' and our home Mother Earth.

Silence protects abusers: the more we say, the less power they have.

Keri and Sharon first met when performing with DJ’s & Live PA’s at dance music club nights back in the late 90’s. It wasn’t until several years later however, that Keri formed the original Keltrix, an alt / folk / rock band that Sharon joined soon after.

After several years, 2 albums & a certain amount of success, a continuing love of electronic music, 90’s rave and trip hop along with the desire to progress musically, it was time to change direction. The 2015 double album Between Storms (band) / Beyond Storms (electro) was a turning point and Keltrix has been a live electro folk / punk act ever since.

The next album 'Bobby Says' encompassed that change. After that, an all-acoustic stripped back album called 'Naked' followed, consisting of favourite tracks plus a couple of newbies, ensuring classic Keltrix confusion as to what the effing-J will come next?!
